Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center
Approximately seven acres of Center grounds have been restored as a natural prairie. Restoration efforts began in 1997. Schools can bring students on tours of the restored prairie. Mr. Bob Lee, a prairie naturalist and Center volunteer, will give students a tour of the prairie to learn about the ecological value of prairie habitat and identification of prairie plants. For information about the prairie and potential tours contact Randy Hines, at (608) 781-6398. |
