The mapping team has over 55 years of combined experience in GIS and geospatial technology.
The HNA mapping team is responsible for assembling, adapting, analyzing, and preparing all spatial data used for the HNA project. The team is also charged with producing the final mapping products and making them available via the Internet. The team will produce narratives with supporting tables, figures, and maps for inclusion in the final report.
The HNA mapping team has produced a data summary of existing federal spatial data holdings within the HNA project area and provided to the technical committee. The current data sets include a variety of raster and vector data. We are also researching available state data from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. The team has also performed a technology survey of existing GIS platforms, cross-platform compatibility, and Internet data server options.
