UMESC is working on a project on the Woonasquatucket River, studying the effects of dioxins and other organochlorine chemicals on Tree Swallows.

UMESC is studying two sites along the Woonasquatucket River to determine whether birds are being exposed to and accumulating possible harmful levels of dioxins, furans, and other organochlorines.
