Education:

M.S. in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Wildlife; University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point

Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
As Chief of the Long Term Resource Monitoring Branch, Jennifer oversees the overall direction and work of 10-12 Branch employees.  The Branch implements the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Upper Mississippi River Restoration (UMRR) Program Long Term Resource Monitoring Program (LTRM) element in cooperation with the five Upper Mississippi River System (UMRS) states of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) provides guidance and has overall program responsibility.  The LTRM combines environmental monitoring, research, systemic data acquisition, and modeling in an effort to provide a solid scientific foundation upon which the UMRR Partners can base management actions and develop environmental policy on the Upper Mississippi River System.  http://www.umesc.usgs.gov/ltrmp.html
