Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
My primary duty as a Biologist in Aquatic Ecosystems Health is to provide technical support and assistance to several ongoing research projects within the branch. Current focus areas include developing micro particle formulations for the targeted delivery of toxicants to invasive fish species, investigating the physiologic response of fish to toxicants by metabolomic methods, monitoring invasive aquatic species using environmental DNA, and evaluating the efficacy of sound and CO2 as barriers to stop the spread of invasive fish species.
