Additional comments:
The Black River below the Onalaska Spillway on the Lock and Dam
#7 dike is not entirely Black River water.  The Black River empties into
Lake Onalaska, a large backwater lake in Pool 7.  In Lake Onalaska,  
mixing of Mississippi River and Black River water occurs.  Thus, the 
BK01.1M/BO01.0N site is strongly influenced by both Black River and Mississippi
River water. There are two spillways on the lock and dam #7 dike
