The Black River empties into Lake Onalaska, a large backwater lake in Pool 7. In Lake Onalaska, mixing of Mississippi River and Black River water occurs. Thus, the BK01.1M/BO01.0N site is strongly influenced by both Black River and Mississippi River water. There are two spillways on the lock and dam #7 dike Loads for this site were estimated with LOADEST2 version 1.10
