Restored Native Prairie Tours

Approximately seven acres of Center grounds have been restored as a natural prairie. Restoration efforts began in 1997.

Schools can bring students on tours of the restored prairie. Mr. Bob Lee, a prairie naturalist and Center volunteer, will give students a tour of the prairie to learn about the ecological value of prairie habitat and identification of prairie plants.
